Former Youthful Violinist of Baroque Orchestra Of New Jersey Participates In Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee

Mila Ferramosca, a violinist and daughter of Sinead and Adrian Ferramosca, of Oxford, England, is a member of the National Children’s Orchestra that will play at a luncheon on Tuesday, June 5, as part of festivities commemorating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond (60 years) Jubilee. The luncheon, hosted by Queen Elizabeth for 700 of her family and personal guests, will be held at the 900-year-old Westminster Hall at the House of Parliament in London.

The National Children’s Orchestra has been invited to perform ten pieces for the Queen and her guests during this luncheon. According to Adrian Ferramosca, Mila’s father, it will be televised between 7:30-9:30 a.m. EDT.

Maestro Butts, with New Jersey playwright Jewel Seehaus-Fisher, will have the first reading of his most recently composed opera “Mark Twain and the General” at The Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Street, Cranford, New Jersey on Saturday May 19 at 2:00 PM.    The program is part of Mark Spina’s Theatre Project new works series.  Admission is free.
