The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey and the College of Saint Elizabeth proudly announce the presentation of a free, non-musical, theatrical rendition of The Marriage of Figaro, adapted from the play by Pierre Beaumarchais.  This first event in BONJ’s 2012 Summer Music Festival will take place at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August 12, on the lawn at the College of Saint Elizabeth, 2 Convent Road, Morristown.  The collaboration will feature Next Stage Ensemble of the Shakespea

Former Youthful Violinist of Baroque Orchestra Of New Jersey Participates In Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee

Mila Ferramosca, a violinist and daughter of Sinead and Adrian Ferramosca, of Oxford, England, is a member of the National Children’s Orchestra that will play at a luncheon on Tuesday, June 5, as part of festivities commemorating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond (60 years) Jubilee. The luncheon, hosted by Queen Elizabeth for 700 of her family and personal guests, will be held at the 900-year-old Westminster Hall at the House of Parliament in London.

The National Children’s Orchestra has been invited to perform ten pieces for the Queen and her guests during this luncheon. According to Adrian Ferramosca, Mila’s father, it will be televised between 7:30-9:30 a.m. EDT.
