Piano Concerto #23

Mozart's Piano Concerto #23 in A Major has been a favorite of pianists, audiences, and orchestras since Mozart himself premiered it in 1786.  The music is emotionally moving and filled with Mozartean beauty and energy.

"Mozart's concerto has a special place in my heart," Maestro Butts commented. "It was the very first major work I ever conducted in Europe. It was a special unforgettable concert in Botosani, Romania in December 1999. Everything felt like magic. The soloist was the wonderful Luca Nicoleta Meitoiu."
