Originally from New Jersey, Miss Mion recently relocated to the greater New York from Atlanta, where she completed her Master’s degree in 2015. Miss Mion also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
Allison found great success during her time in Atlanta, most notably her debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in 2015. Recent roles include Mary Warren in Robert Ward's The Crucible, Rosina in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and Despina in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. Her other roles include Papagena (in Mozart's Die Zauberflote, Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Miss Wordsworth in Britten's Albert Herring, and Adele in Strauss's Die Fledermaus. Allison also enjoyed many opportunities in the Atlanta choral scene.
Recently, Allison has appeared in outreach productions with Opera Montclair, and just finished a production of Don Giovanni (Zerlina) with Opera MODO in Detroit, Michigan. Miss Mion holds private studios in Millburn and Summit, and is also on staff at The Wharton Institute for Performing Arts, where she teaches elementary music through their outreach programs in Paterson, NJ.
