2022 BONJ Summer Music Festival - August Orchestra Concert

Let's celebrate summer together at the 2022 Festival FInale.

Special guest artist - pianist Brian Lam

Brian Lam's awards include first prizes at the Hong Kong International Concerto Festival Competition, New York Classical Music Society Recital Audition, Brooklyn College Concerto Competition, American Proteges International Concerto Competition, Philadelphia Young Classical Virtuoso International Piano Competition and a second prize at the New York International Artist Association Piano Competition. He has played at Steinway Halls in London & New York, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufmann Music Center, the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Chicago Cultural Center, Pardington Hall in Nyack, and Hong Kong City Hall.  Mr. Lam holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance (summa cum laude) from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. Besides performing, Lam is also a revered educator in the piano community where he has received the Outstanding Teacher Award from Steinway and Sons. Lam has been invited to give piano masterclasses in Hong Kong and in the United States. He has been an official Steinway Educational Partner and currently holds a private piano studio in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to teaching, Lam serves as the Music Director and Organist of the Homecrest Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn, where he provides music for weekly worship services. Mr. Lam has recently released his album Ineffable in April 2022.
