On Thursday Apriil 20, The Morris County Chamber of Commerce held its 17 Annual Nonprofit Conference at The Mansion at Mountain Lakes.
Following a great introduction from Meghan Hunscher, Chamber President, Maestro Robert W. Butts accepted the 2023 award for Innovative Program in recognition of collaboration with Keys 2 Success.
Others receviing the prestigious 2023 awards were Grit n Snow program at Lakeland Hills Family YMCA (accepted by CEO Alex Martinez), Kim Iozzi (Executive Director of Dress for Success Northern New Jersey), Diane Williams (President & CEO of Jersey Battered Women's Service), and Rosanne DeTorres (Managing Parnter of DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law).
Also attending the event was orchestra Treasurer and Board Member Andrew Masini.
The keynote address was presented by nonprofit leader Joan Garry.
"We are all deeply honored," Maestro Butts said in his brief talk. "Being able to bring the orchestra to perform in Newark and bringing the families and young students of the program to perform in Madison with the orchestra is rewarding in so many ways - for those of us in the orchestra, on the board, and in the audience as well as for the young students and their families."
Keys 2 Success was founded by Jee-Hoon Krska, President and Executive Director.
