| 8/23/2022

We are thrilled to announce the 2022-2023 Season, a season filled with great music, great guest artists, familiar favorites and new discoveries, new venues and return to old venues, and so much more!

The season opens on Sunday November 13, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Dolan Hall, The Annunciation Center, Saint Elizabeth University with two composer friends, one of whom is among the world''s most popular, the other one of the least known.  Wolfgang Amadeus will be represented by one of the greatest of all symphonies - his #41 known as The Jupiter Symphony!   The discovery piece is unique in several ways!  First, Leopolod Kozeluch was a wonderful composer and friend of Mozart''s.  Second, his Concerto for piano 4-hands is one of a handful of concerti ever written for 4-hand piano!  We are thrilled to invite guest soloists Madalina Danila (from Romania) and Hugh Sung, fresh from their highly successful Paris debut!  For further information and to purchase tickets, click here.

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm, for our annual Wassail concert, we return to the venue of our very first Wassail concerts over twenty years ago: Morristown Unitarian Fellowship.  We will also return to our founding roots with a concert entitled Back to  Baroque.  The concert will feature orchestra musicians playing great works from the Baroque period (1600-1750). Violinists Emily James and Rosalie Dumas will interpert Johann Sebastian Bach''s popular Concerto for Two Violins in d minor while violinists Alyson Whelan and Aimmee Briant will interpret Antonio  Vivaldi''s equally popular Concerto for Two Violins.  For further information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Our Spring Concert on Sunday April 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Dolan Hall, The Annunciation Center,, Saint Elizabeth University will feature two of the orchestra''s favorite composers: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven.  Mozart''s lovely Piano Concerto #21 will feature internationally acclaimed pianist Beatrice Long.  Beethoven''s new energy and style will be heard in his magical Symphony #1.   Also on the program will be Antonio Salieri - known well by both Mozart and Beethoven - whose Sinfonia la tempesta di Mare will open the concert.  For further information and to purchase tickets, click here.
